1940s Dapper Dan Suit | Vintage 40s Hickory Brown Wool with White, Red, and Black Chalk Stripes Peak Lapel Jacket & Trousers |Size 40 Medium

You’re sure to look your dapper best and feel it too in this 1940’s suit! The wool of this suit is a rich hickory brown with alternating white and black & red chalk stripes. The jacket is double breasted with a 2x6 button stance in matching brown buttons with sets of 4 matching buttons at each cuff, rayon butterfly lining, peak lapels, three outer welted pockets, one inner pocket, padded shoulders, and ventless back. The trousers have a deep double pleat front, dropped belt loops, inner suspender buttons, four welted pockets (one with button closure on the back), wide cuffs, and a "Talon" metal zip. 1939-49 Union label and "V for Victory" zip both confirm 1940's dating. By "Hyde Park Clothes" for "Hawley Allison Company" of Cherokee, Iowa. This suit is in excellent vintage condition, with nary a flaw to be found - no holes, stains, or odors to note.
