1800s Belle Époque Dress Ensemble | Victorian Antique Vintage Jacket & 2 Skirt Set w/Pleats + Bustle in Metallic Grey Wool | Extra Small XS

Evoke beauty and refinement in this incredible 1800's ensemble! Variegated metallic grey lightweight wool makes up the majority of this set. The top features a bib of charcoal grey silk taffeta which is also used as trim accents, two tiers of cartridge pleats on the cuffs, fishtail cut to the back, and two tone star shell buttons. The outer skirt features vertical rows of ruching, cartridge pleat ruffles, bustled back with knife pleats, and taffeta trim and bows. The underskirt is brushed cotton at the top with wool and taffeta of the outer pieces used near the bottom where it will show. Pleats of varying widths give a satisfying swish when walking. Professionally dated to the 1870s/1880s. A hook and eye fasten both skirts. This set is in great vintage condition, slight wear on the cuffs but no stains, holes, nor odors to note.

Once the garment is back in my hands, I can refund for the price of the item -10% to cover Etsy platform & payment processing fees (Free Shipping items -20%).
