1950s Candy Apple Cutie Dress | Vintage 50s Red Grey and Silver Lurex Cotton Plaid Deadstock Shirtwaist Frock by "Mode O'Day" | Medium

Take this picture perfect 1950s shirtwaist dress to the fair and enjoy a candy apple! A fantastic example of the classic shirt dress that exemplifies that 50s era, this one is made of a bright red and grey plaid cotton fabric with silver lurex thread woven through for a little added sparkle! Features a pointed fold over collar, self covered buttons up the front bodice, darting at the bust, a full pleated skirt, and short cuffed sleeves. The self fabric belt is attached at the back of the dress and secures around the front with two silver d-rings. Closes with a side metal zip. Label reads "Mode O'Day." This dress is in excellent vintage deadstock condition with original tags attached, and no holes, stains, or odors to note.
