1800s Emerald City Emissary Ensemble | Antique Victorian Two Piece Green Wool Skirt & Jacket Gown Walking Suit Set w/Soutache Velvet | Small

You'll look like a VIP of the Emerald City in this enviable Victorian set! Both pieces are made of emerald green wool and adorned with beautifully swirling soutache. The jacket is also accented with velvet on the cuffs and collar and is cut in a frock style with a long back strategically box pleated and a semi-asymmetric front closure leaving an open gap to reveal the skirt. Woven cord buttons are used functionally and decoratively and it is fully lined with ivory silk. The skirt is wide and sweeping with stitched pleats and a box pleat at the back. Hooks and eyes for fastening. This set is in great vintage condition, some tiny subtle period mends but no stains, holes, or odors to note.
