1920s Diamond Jubilee Swimsuit | Vintage 20s Grey Wool Bathing Suit with Red Stripes Stamped 'San Francisco' & Dated 1925! | Small Medium

Show off your swimming prowess in this 1920s one piece bathing suit! Classic wool swimsuit in mottled grey and scarlet stripes with lots of cool "official" markings signaling its history! It's a suit by "Gantner & Mattern" (our local swimwear/knitwear house, similar to Jantzen) made for the Park Commission to give to workers at the "Fleishhacker Pool" in San Francisco for the 1925 Diamond Jubilee! Shoulder button and skirted shorts with a hidden pocket. This swimsuit is in good vintage condition, with some really unique and fascinating wear, but still very wearable.

Measurements taken flat and doubled where appropriate:
Chest: 32"- 38" Comfortably
Waist: 30"- 36" Comfortably
Hips: 34"- 38"
Overall Length: 25.5" center front to crotch

Returns/Exchanges: We accept returns or exchanges if contacted and sent back within two days of delivery. Once the garment is back in my hands, I can refund for the price of the item -10% to cover Etsy platform & payment processing fees (Free Shipping items -20%). If you’d prefer to make an exchange, you can receive the Full Amount towards a different item, or turn the funds into a Gift Certificate.
