1920s Rare "Janzten" Advertisement Swimsuit | Vintage 20s Scarlet Red Wool Knit One Piece Bathing Suit with Large Diver Patch!| Small Medium

You'll want to dive right in with this show stopper of a swimsuit! This one piece swimsuit has a classic 20's cut in scarlet red wool and a button over the left shoulder. The suit itself is from "G&M" with a patent date of May 22, 1922 but the giant "Jantzen" diver logo patch makes this a particularly special piece and signifies it's use in advertising. Jantzen bought-out G&M (a similar local knit swimwear brand) in the 1920s - we strongly suspect this was then repurposed by Jantzen as an advertising/display bathing suit. This swimsuit is in great vintage condition, with a few subtle period mends but no holes, stains, odors to note.

Measurements taken flat and doubled where appropriate:

Bust: 28" - 34" comfortably
Waist: 24" - 30" comfortably
Hip: 32" - 38" comfortably
Overall Length: 24” center front to crotch
