1930s New Years Eve Tuxedo | Vintage 30s Black Wool 2-Piece Shawl Collar Single-Breasted Formal Tux Suit Dated 1931! | Size 37 Small/Medium

Ring in the New Year wearing this dapper vintage tuxedo originally purchased a week before New Years Eve of 1931! Soft black wool with silk shawl lapels, this jacket also features a single-button closure, pairs of matching cuff buttons, jetted chest pocket, two flapped hip pockets, and one inner pocket, butterfly lining, shoulder pads, and an unvented back. Trousers have a flat-front, silk tuxedo-stripe down the sides, 5 pockets, button-fly closure, and a full set of inner suspender buttons. By "A May & Sons" (later May Co, later bought by Macys) of Grand Rapids, Michigan and dated December 18th, 1931 - so close to New Years, surely this was bought to ring in the New Year! This suit is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, odors to note.
