1940s Stop The Static Suit | Vintage 40s Cerulean Blue Wool with Eye-Watering Red ZigZag Stripe Two-Piece Victory Set | Size 42 Large

Dart around corners and zig when they zag for a clean getaway in this swell 1940s suit! Cerulean blue wool is given a red pinstripe with an incredible over-woven zigzag weave giving a mesmerizing effect! Single-breasted 3-button jacket has wide lapels, 4 matching buttons at each cuff, jetted chest pocket, two welted hip pockets, and a single inner pocket with butterfly lining, unvented back, and shoulder pads. Trousers feature a flat-front, dropped belt loops, 5 pockets with one buttoning in the back, and cuffed hems. Includes a full set of inner suspender buttons and closes with a button-tab and steel Talon "V for Victory" wartime zipper. Additional dating provided by a 1939-48 Union Label. 'Hardiweave' fabric and tailored by Brooks of California. This suit is in great vintage condition, with an incredibly subtle period mend and no holes, stains, odors to note.
