1930s Master Crafted Suit | Vintage 30s Cream White Wool Gabardine Pleated & Belted Back Peak Lapels Jacket + Trousers Set | Size 38 Medium

Show you're in-the-know with one of the rarest 1930s suit treatments we've ever seen! A belted-back suit is the definition of rare, sought-after vintage menswear. True fans and collectors know there's another suiting feature so uncommon it's rare to even hear it talked about - front pleats on the jacket. And what's rarer still? Combining both together! We've *never* seen this before, and doubt we will again - the belted back continues past the side-seams to wrap around toward the front to join three deep pleats on each side - genius! Soft cream wool gabardine jacket also features pleats into the belted back, two box-pleated patch pockets at the hips, jetted chest pocket, wide peak lapels, 2x4 abalone button closure with matching button trios at the cuffs, fully lined with one inner pocket. Trousers feature a pleated front, five pockets with one buttoning in the back, tall cuffs, a full set of inner suspender buttons, and button-fly. By "Master Craft" clothes of New York and San Francisco, with a 1936-39 union label. This suit appears unworn - the inner waistband is still gleaming white, the back waistband still has the sales tag stitching, and the jacket lining is unstained. While the pants are in great condition with just a couple tiny holes found, the jacket has mothing - most notably in the arms and some very faint marks (which may very well wash out - we have not tried to launder). Please note price reflects both condition and rarity.
