1940s Malibu Mayhem Bikini | Vintage 40s Red Blue Yellow Tropical Island Print Cotton 2 Piece Halter Shirred Shorts Swimsuit | Small Medium

This 1940s "Malibu" bikini is just the thing to cause a little mayhem at the beach! Tagged "The beach of the stars and styled in Hollywood", it won't matter where you choose to take a dip because the tropical print is sure to send you to paradise. Made of cotton in hues of tomato red, navy blue, yellow ochre, white, and cedar green, it features palm trees, oxen pulled carts, and birds in the clouds. The top has halter ties with the option of criss crossing in the front or a standard sweetheart front, gathered cups with center knot, and shirred elastic straps that fasten with two applejuice bakelite buttons. The bottoms have an ultra high waist and are cut similar to hot pants/boy shorts. The back is fully elastic with shirring for a perfect and comfortable fit. This set is in great vintage condition, with still lots of elasticity. No holes, stains, or odors to note.

Returns/Exchanges: We accept returns or exchanges if contacted and sent back within two days of delivery. Once the garment is back in my hands, I can refund for the price of the item -10% to cover Etsy platform & payment processing fees (Free Shipping items -20%). If you’d prefer to make an exchange, you can receive the Full Amount towards a different item, or turn the funds into a Gift Certificate.
