1940s Barbara's Basking Playsuit | Vintage 40s Puce w/Red Purple Yellow White Stripe Cotton Chambray Shirtwaist Romper w/Trap Door | Small

Make a playdate and send hearts a flutter when you're basking in this 1940s playsuit! Made of cotton chambray in puce (brown-purple taupe) with stripe accents in watermelon red, butter yellow, white, and orchid purple. Two patch pockets on the chest utilize the stripes in a chevron formation for extra fun detail. The shirtwaist style romper fastens with white buttons up the front but then also on each side of the waist along with each hip getting a metal zipper, all of which leads to something that is seriously lacking in a lot of rompers, a trap door! Around the back of the waist are more buttons fastening the shorts to the shirt so you can relieve yourself without time consuming fuss! Also styled with small pads in the shoulders, box pleats below the waist, and wide cut leg openings on the shorts. From 'Barbara Field by Joyce of Chicago". This playsuit is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains or odors to note.

Once the garment is back in my hands, I can refund for the price of the item -10% to cover Etsy platform & payment processing fees (Free Shipping items -20%).
