1930s Putting On the Ritz Tails Tux | Vintage 30s Black Wool 3 Piece Tuxedo Tailcoat Vest & Trousers Formal Suit | Size 36 Small

You'll be putting on the Ritz just like Fred Astaire in this fantastic 1930’s tuxedo! This three piece set is made of a rich black wool and the tailcoat has peak lapels made of a black silk faille. Silk covered decorative buttons on the chest, tails and cuffs give a flash of sheen. The tailcoat has a jetted chest pocket, padded shoulders, and a pleat down each tail along with a hidden interior pocket typically for gloves. Fully lined with silk and another inside pocket. The waistcoat changes things up with a shawl lapel matching the faille of the coat and the front is a finer weave of silk faille. It has two welted pockets, three button closure, and buckling back adjuster. The trousers have a pleated front and stripes down the sides also of faille where the hand pockets are sleekly set in. Two back pockets with one buttoning and outer suspender buttons and a button fly. The tag reads by "Crawford", and includes a 1936-39 Union Label dating this set to the 1930s. This suit is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, odors to note.
