1940s Romantic Renaissance Dress | Vintage 40s Red Rayon Velvet and Silver Lamé Floral Jacquard Frock with Split Juliet Sleeves | Medium

Feel romantic draped in the historic details of this early 1940s dress! The stunning combination of alizarin red rayon velvet and silk jacquard lamé signify luxury and refinement. The jacquard is a mulled wine red with a floral pattern and the silver of the lame adds a flash of sophistication. The main body of the dress is kept simple and elegant with a V-neck, fitted waist, and flared skirt while the sleeves are the standout element with their Renaissance inspiration marrying a Juliet sleeve with a bishop sleeve, slit for a peek of skin and fitted at the wrists with a metal "Talon" zipper. Metal "Talon" zippers also fasten on the side and at the nape which also has a V for victory and pinpoints this piece to WWII. From "Bette Frances". This dress is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note.

Once the garment is back in my hands, I can refund for the price of the item -10% to cover Etsy platform & payment processing fees (Free Shipping items -20%).
