1940s Lights, Cannes, Action Tuxedo! | Vintage 40s Black Wool Double Breasted Two-Piece Tux Suit w/ Peak Lapels Dated 1946! | Size 40 Medium

Whether you're a Hollywood heartthrob or French auteur filmmaker, this tuxedo would surely be all the rage on the carpet of the Cannes Film Festival, which had its debut the same year & month this tux was tailored! Both pieces of this suit are made from a medium weight black wool. The jacket is double breasted with a 1x4 button closure, has silk faille peak lapels, jetted chest pocket, two welted hip pockets, interior pockets on each side, and two buttons on each cuff. Has a skeleton lining, shoulder pads, and unvented back. The trousers have a black silk ribbon side stripe, two hip pockets, coin pocket, two buttoning back pockets, belt loops, six-button fly, and full set of suspender buttons. Tag inside jacket is from Hamilton Cincinnati, and tailor's tag is dated 1946! This suit is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, odors to note.

Returns/Exchanges: We accept returns or exchanges if contacted and sent back within two days of delivery. Once the garment is back in my hands, I can refund for the price of the item -10% to cover Etsy platform & payment processing fees (Free Shipping items -20%).  If you’d prefer to make an exchange, you can receive the Full Amount towards a different item, or turn the funds into a Gift Certificate.
