Even Clark Kent would be happy to ward off a winter chill on his way to work at the Daily Planet in this fantastic 1950s wool overcoat. Coat is made of woven black and ivory wool in a micro houndstooth pattern for a marled gray effect and is accented with an oversize windowpane plaid pattern in slubby vibrant red. Three-button overcoat sports fantastic mid-century details such as topstiched welted slant pockets, foldover single-button cuffs, and extra wide topstitched notched lapel. Coat has smoke gray half-lining and seam finishings, center back vent, and includes original union label. This overcoat is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note.
