1950s Silk Brocade Dress Set | Vintage 50s Sapphire Blue and Jet Black Floral Midi-Length Cocktail Dress with Matching Bolero Jacket | Large

This delightful New Look-era cocktail dress set is sure to turn heads at your next Mad Men party or cocktail soireé. Dress set is made of gorgeous silk brocade in an allover black floral pattern on a ground of deep sapphire blue. Cocktail dress features fantastic 1950s details such as elbow length sleeves, crewneck collar with peek-a-boo sweetheart cutout, double dart tuck shaping at skirt front, mirrored knife pleats at skirt back creating an architectural train effect, and metal zippers at side and center back. Back zipper has hook-and-eye closure at neck. Matching bolero jacket features three-quarter length sleeves, princess bust shaping, curved hem, and Peter Pan collar. Both pieces are unlined and include original sapphire blue on cream jacquard "Missy Mrs. by Henry Gans" designer labels. This cocktail dress set is in excellent vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note. It has been pinned on model to show fit.
