1950s Shawl Collar Dress | Vintage 50s Mid Century Purple Green & Black Silk Circle Bubble Print Asymmetric Button Up Frock | Medium
This 1950's dress features a fun all over print of crowding circles in moss green and grape and violet purple outlined in black on a background of grape purple. The material is a thick silk with a combed cotton feel on the printed side. A large shawl collar closes asymmetrically with black buttons down to the mid point of the skirt with snaps on the inside for a double breasted closure. 3/4 sleeves are cuffed and the full skirt utilizes knife pleats around the waist. Fitting for a classy Mardi Gras event! This dress is in great vintage condition, there is a period repair in the skirting, easily hidden in the pleats. No holes, stains, or odors to note.
