This 1940's blazer has delightful feminine details and will have you stand out in the crowd! Tawny brown virgin wool gabardine is cut in an hourglass shape with lots of seaming and darting to achieve this. The edges of the wide rounded lapel, down the front, and along the pocket flaps are ribbed giving great textural feel and visual interest. The pockets have a scoop shape, both functional and petite. Moderately padded shoulders lead to a slightly tapered sleeve with a triangular slit at the cuff. Five self buttons fasten up the front. Fully lined in burnt orange crepe. From the "Forstmann" label. This blazer is in great vintage condition, there is a very subtle slight fade down the right arm and a couple period mends on the sleeves. No holes, stains, or odors to note. It has been pinned on model to show fit.
