This incredible 1940s evening gown is perfect for sipping cocktails on a Sedona Springs veranda, enjoying a sunset over the Painted Desert, or a dreamy dance at a Grand Canyon wedding! Dress is made of incredible moiré acetate taffeta in an allover abstract rose pattern in a classic shade of mushroom beige taupe and features amazing New Look-era details such as broad shoulder straps, ballerina waist, triple chevron hip pleats, floor-length bias cut skirt, and dramatic architectural bow at the left shoulder! Gown is unlined and with metal back zip and hook-and-eye closure. Natural fading to a beautiful dusty sandstone coral along skirt hem and at underarms adds an elegant ombré effect to this dreamy dress. This dress is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note.
