This authentic swimsuit in classic black and white is an iconic design by Rose Marie Reid who was famous for her hourglass-producing, figure-flattering bathing suit styles. Like many of her designs which were known for their structure and quality, this unique swimsuit features boning and a metal zipper down the center back with a hook-and-eye closure for extra security. The wide, adjustable straps button in the back with two slot options so you can change up the style and fit. Along the straps and square neckline, this suit features unique fagoted top-stitching where the black meets the statement white band. Fun Fact: although her name continued to be used on labels past 1962, Rose Marie Reid sold her company because she refused to partake in designing skimpy bikinis! This swimsuit is in excellent vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note.
