1930s Snow White Gown | Vintage 30s Sheer Nylon and Rayon Satin Evening Ball Dress with Petal Peplum & Sweetheart Neckline | Extra Small XS
Feel like an elegant snow queen in this pure white 1930s gown! This lovely gown has an opaque nylon bodice and rayon satin skirt overlaid with sheer white nylon. The sheer layer is ruched at the sweetheart neckline and doubled over the shoulders going around the back in a shawl style. The slim fitting bodice comes to V-points on the back and front of the waistline with darts creating a pleat that allows room for the bust. The peplum is a pannier style just over each hip and is cut with a pretty petal pattern that attaches partway down the skirt. The long drapey skirt is heavily gathered at the waist for fullness over the slimmer underskirt. Metal zipper on the side. This dress is in great vintage condition, there are a few extremely tiny brown spots on the skirt and a small period mend on the back yoke, hidden by the shawl collar when worn, and no other holes, stains, or odors to note.
