1940s Color Block Dress | Vintage 40s Eggplant Purple and Emerald Green Wool Dress w/Standout Pointed Cuffs & Pleated Side Peplum | Medium

An architectural beauty from the 1940's, this wool dress will keep you warm while serving plenty of va va voom! This colour block style offers a lovely bright eggplant purple contrasted with emerald green (got a Mardi Gras party to go to?) and the shape of this dress can't be beat! This collarless dress has a deep V-front with a series of self buttons and loop button holes that are functional but most likely to be worn open to show off the green modesty panel. The waistline is blocked in green with an off centre point where the peplum is pleated and cascades into a ruffle on the left side of the skirt. The extreme pointed cuffs also allow a peek of green from the upturned side. The shoulders are lightly padded and there is a metal zipper on the side. This dress is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note.
