1940s Cocktail Cutie Dress Set | Vintage 40s Two Piece Black and Hot Pink Rayon Crepe Blouse Top and Skirt with Beading Hip Sash Bow | Large
You’ll be the cutest girl at cocktail hour in this 1940’s dress set! This two piece set is made of rayon crepe in black and hot pink and is an interesting example of war time rationing as the hot pink portion of the top is secretly only a partial blouse with a panel in front connected to a waist and that hooks in the back. The black “jacket” is adorned with swirling shiny jet black beads and snaps closed to the pink panel. The skirt has an A-line cut with a slightly longer hem in the back and faux sash draping on the front of the hips topped off with a jaunty bow. Metal zipper on the side. This set is in great vintage condition, there is some slight bead loss at the top but no holes, stains, or odors to note. It has been pinned on model to show fit.

I did not receive the dress I purchased. Better communication from the seller might have helped. I contacted the seller multiple times for an update and/or delivery tracking info after I noticed the funds were withdrawn from my PayPal. The seller finally replied to let me know she had misplaced the item and was looking for it. BTW this was the first time a seller on Etsy has charged money to my PayPal before actually shipping an order. I said no worries, take your time. After a week I contacted the seller for an update and when the seller didn't reply I asked Etsy for a refund. The Etsy case resolution center issued a refund almost instantly. This was the best part of the whole transaction, and the reason I gave 3 stars for customer service and why I will continue to buy things on Etsy.
