1940s Sophisticated Siren Suit | Vintage 40s “Carlene” Taupe Brown Wool Two Piece Set w/Yellow Orange & Black Woven Stripe Pattern | Medium

Take charge in the boardroom or Cocktail lounge in this 1940’s “Carlane” suit! The jacket is taupe brown wool with woven geometric stripes of black, goldenrod yellow, and marigold orange which help create the image of a nipped waist. Also features peak lapels, notched cuffed sleeves, partial self buttons, and small hip pockets. Fully lined in rayon. The matching skirt is all taupe wool in a simple pencil cut with a knife kick pleat and metal zipper on the side. From the “Haas Omaha” store. This suit is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note.
