1940s Need for Speed Jacket | Vintage 40s Chocolate Brown Leather A2 Bomber Jacket with Double Side Pockets & Knit Accents | Medium Size 40

This classic 1940’s A-2 leather bomber jacket is perfect for a day spent zipping through the hills on a vintage motorcycle or stepping back in time as a WWII flying ace! Made of sturdy chocolate brown steerhide leather and fully lined in coral quilted rayon. Bomber jacket sports fantastic period details such as top-stitching around the collar, chestnut brown wool rib-knit cuffs and waistband, metal 'Waldes' front zipper, reinforced vertical slash side pockets lined in ultra soft flannel, and Western-style pointed flap-top pockets with snap closures. Styled by “Kurland Star Sportswear”. "Star Sportswear" manufacturing company made 30,000 A2 Military Jackets for the Military back in 1942. The previous owner name “Mechen” is written inside near the zipper, as is customary for WWII flight jackets. Leather is sturdy and supple with a wonderful patina. This jacket is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note.

Returns/Exchanges: We accept returns or exchanges if contacted and sent back within two days of delivery. Once the garment is back in my hands, I can refund for the price of the item -10% to cover Etsy platform & payment processing fees (Free Shipping items -20%).
