1940s Smart Grey Skirt Suit | Vintage 40s Gray White Wool Two Piece Set with Fitted Blazer Jacket & Pencil Skirt by “I. Magnin” | Small

You can't go wrong with this classic wool skirt suit with a patent number dating it to 1943! Grey and white wool are woven together to create this lightweight suit. The blazer has rounded notched lapels, faux button flap chest pockets, four button closure, slanted hip pockets, and a series of darts-into-pleats at the back waist for fantastic shaping. Fully lined. The pencil skirt with "Talon" side metal zipper closure is generously darted to give a tailored fit with a single knife pleat down the center front and partial lining. Made by “Davidow” for “I.Magnin”. This suit is in great vintage condition, the jacket lining has a few small holes and there are a couple well done period mends but no exterior holes, stains, or odors to note.
