1950s Romantic Rendezvous Dress | Vintage 50s Lounging Lovers & Florals Sandy Orange Novelty Rayon Shirtwaist Frock | Large Extra Large XL

It's not hard to imagine wearing this romantic 1950’s “Mode O Day” dress on a picnic in the garden with your sweetheart. The dress is made of rayon in sandy orange with a novelty print of scrolling florals and depictions of medieval romanticism such as lute players, cherubs, winged beasts, and wine drinkers in burnt or range and sienna brown. The shirtwaist style dress buttons all the way down the front with black flower buttons and has a small pointed collar, smocking on the shoulders and yoke, and hip pockets on the full skirt. This dress is in great vintage condition, with subtle period mends to the underarms but no holes, stains, or odors to note. Dress has been pinned on model to show fit.
