1950s Walk the Runway Coat | Vintage 50s Black Wool Velvet Stripe Swing Coat with Silk Velvet Shawl Collar & Pockets by "Lilli Ann" | Large
The runway calls when you can strut your stuff in this 1950's coat! Black wool in a super swing cut features velvet stripes running from the shoulders fully down the back, silk velvet lined shawl collar, single button closure, and hip pockets. Fully lined in rayon satin with the designer "Lilli Ann" label of San Francisco. This coat is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, odors to note.

Returns/Exchanges: We accept returns or exchanges if contacted and sent back within two days of delivery. Once the garment is back in my hands, I can refund for the price of the item -10% to cover Etsy platform & payment processing fees (Free Shipping items -20%). If you’d prefer to make an exchange, you can receive the Full Amount towards a different item, or turn the funds into a Gift Certificate. With over 1000 special pieces to choose from, we’re adding more all the time!
Please note that most vintage shops do not offer returns at all. Sadly, I cannot cover the costs of shipping.

The review of this coat comes with a story. My Aunt Mamie was married to Adolph Schuman. They later divorced but remained close friends. Adolph later married Lillian, and they founded Lilli Ann of San Francisco and gifted this coat to my Aunt Mamie. When my aunt passed away, I inherited the coat from her and I loved it! Sadly, I later married a horrible man (thankfully now deceased) that stole the coat from me without my knowledge or consent. I thought I would never see my coat again. MANY years later, I couldn’t believe that I found the coat on Etsy at a local vintage store not far from my home! In a wave of emotion, I purchased the coat quickly. I’m delighted that my coat is safe, in good condition, and has returned home. My family history is restored. Thank you for being such great caretakers of my coat and great sellers!
