1940s Shooting Stars Three Piece Suit | Vintage 40s Black Wool with Blue and White Peak Lapel Jacket Vest & Pants 3-Piece | Size 36 Small

A handsome suit for a handsome gent, this 1940's classic will make you the toast of the town! The wool of the suit is a deep black with staccato diagonal blue & white pinstripes that remind us of rain or shooting stars. The jacket is double breasted with a 2x6 button stance, butterfly lining, peaked lapels, ventless back, shoulder pads, three outer welted pockets, and one inner pocket. The vest has four welted pockets, six buttons, and is backed in rayon. The trousers have a pleated front, dropped belt loops, brass “Talon” zipper, inner suspender buttons, four welted pockets with one buttoning in the back, and cuffed hems. From “Solkos” of Grand Junction. 1939-48 Union Label dates this suit to the 1940s. This suit is in excellent vintage condition with no holes, stains, or odors to note - pocket linings and all underarms are still shiny and bright! The suit has seen such little use, the trousers coin/watch pocket is still sewn shut from the original tailor stitching! Be the first to use it 80 years later!
