1920s Harold Lloyd Hat | Vintage 20s Yellow Yeddo Pressed Woven Straw Boater with Black Striped Grosgrain Ribbon Bow Trim | Size 7 1/4 Large

Channel the spirit of Harold Lloyd in this 1920’s boater! This classic boater hat is made of yeddo (knotted straw) that has been pressed and woven and is decorated with black grosgrain ribbon around the crown striped in dove grey, sunny yellow, and raspberry red, giving a variety of matching opportunities. It has a leather hat band and a net lining. Marked "Best Quality, New Style” and "Fine Quality, Master Mode, Shower Proof". We're fascinated that "shower proof" would be an advertised quality of such a summer hat! This hat is in great vintage condition, with a little separation to the inner band and no holes, stains, or odors to note. 
 
Marked Size: 7 1/4 (I know this has been inked over. I see "1/4" printed under the marker, and it fits like a 7&1/4)
